TWO NEW FACES IN THE SHAKE UP
Nelson has been brought in from non-league Bishop Auckland, while Seddon has signed after failing to win a deal with Reading.
Nelson impressed during a loan spell at the end of last term, and he continued his progress during pre-season and Preece swiftly offered him a contract.
Seddon was expected to sign for Reading, but Alan Pardew shelved his interest after they failed to win promotion at the end of last term.
The signing of the free-scoring centre forward is something of coup for Bury, as the former RAF serviceman was being chased by Wigan and Chesterfield, and had a trial with Everton last term.
Bury have been further boosted by the commitment shown by Chris Billy, Paul Reid, Lee Unsworth and Lee Connell, who have all signed extended contracts.
Preece (pictured) appeared delighted by the developments, saying: "It is a massive weight off everybody`s shoulders. Now we know where we are going and it allows us to plan properly for the season ahead.
"It gives me a lift and more importantly it gives the players a lift. It has been a difficult time lately but now things are sorted I am delighted and looking forward to the campaign."
