KANU DREAMS OF INTER RETURN
The Nigerian international has a close relationship with Inter president Massimo Moratti and is aware of the nerazzurri's determination to bring him back to Giuseppe Meazza.
"I deserve a place in the first team at Arsenal," said the African ace.
"One thing I'm sure of is that I will not want to sit on the bench like last season.
"Inter have been asking after me but nothing is concrete yet.
"I still have a lot of admirers at Inter, particularly president Moratti, who is like a father to me.
"However, there is no need for me to rush out.
"With me, anything is possible, and I could be playing for Inter again."
The arrival of Everton striker Francis Jeffers has further increased the competition for places under Arsene Wenger, with Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Sylvain Wiltord also fighting for the two spots in the first team.
