QUAKERS SIGN MELLANBY
The midfield youngster impressed during last season as Bishops reached two cup finals and finished third in the league, and The Quakers have signed him on a one-year deal.
Director of Football Luke Raine said: "We think that Danny has got the ability to play at Football League level, and we are sure that we can help him make the grade.
"It`s a big step up, but we think he can make the transition. We think he can do a job for us, especially in the position he plays behind the front two."
Mellanby could prove to be a shrewd addition, as he has scored goals for every team he has played for - netting 28 last term.
