AGENT: COCO MAY GO
The 24-year-old wing back has aspirations to play for Italy in the 2002 World Cup finals and may leave the Giuseppe Meazza after failing to win a place under The Rosseneri's new coach Fatih Terim.
"Francesco would like to stay at AC Milan, but if he is not strictly needed any longer we would be forced to look around because he's currently an international player and really wants to join the next World Cup. Francesco likes Barcelona a lot but it is not possible to forget the time with The Rossoneri," confirmed Nino Coco.
Barca have monitored the skillful defender for the past few months and are favourites for Coco's signature should he decide to leave Milan.
Serie A rivals Lazio are also said to be interested in the highly-rated star and may tempt Milan with a player exchange deal involving defender Guiseppe Favalli.
