DUNDEE DENY ZHIYI RUMOUR - ARGENTINE ARRIVES
DUNDEE boss Ivano Bonetti has ruled out a move for Crystal Palace's Chinese defender Fan Zhiyi.
The Scottish side were linked with a move for veteran Zhiyi, but Bonetti has admitted that he is not prepared to buy out a long-term contract with Palace.
"I know this player and he still has three years left to run on his contract," said Bonetti.
Meanwhile, Dundee have taken Argentine starlet Lucas Gatti on trial with a view to a permanent contract.
The adaptable 22-year-old is comfortable anywhere down the left flank and has played with Argentinian giants San Lorenzo and Boca Juniors.
Gatti already holds dual Italian nationality so would be able to play in Scotland without having to acquire a work permit.
