RKC GIVE JOEY £3.5M PRICE TAG
RKC WAALWIJK have slapped a £3.5 million price tag on Icelandic midfielder Joey Gudjonsson.
The 21-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from Real Betis, Ipswich and Sunderland but RKC are in no rush to sell him.
The son of current Stoke manager Gudjon Thordason has a contract until 2005 with the Dutch side and is happy to stay for the time being rather than be a bit-part player elsewhere.
A creative player with a fantastic left foot, similar in some ways to his coach Martin Jol, Gudjonsson is touted to have a big future in the game.
