LASPALLES INJURY BLOW FOR NANTES
NANTES` fabulous 4-1 Champions League win over PSV Eindhoven has been soured slightly by an injury to Nicolas Laspalles.
The defender picked up an injury during the match and tests have shown that he has fractured his collarbone, and the 29-year-old is expected to be out of action for around a month.
Nantes coach Raynald Denoueix has spoken about the victory over PSV, claiming that his side never lost faith despite their poor start to the season.
"We never lost our team," he said. "We lost points, but not the team and not hope.
"Tonight we found our form, but my greatest satisfaction is, despite the setbacks, the squad never broke up.
"I am filled with joy because we succeeded against such a strong team."
