KINNEAR SLAMS HOWARD FOR PENALTY FARCE
Town were awarded a spot kick in the 52nd minute and the former Northampton man decided he would hit the kick instead of regular taker Aaron Skelton.
Howard took the kick twice and saw it saved by Alan Fettis on both occasions.
After the first penalty, Kevin Nicholls tried to give the ball to Skelton, but Howard took it off him and then became embroiled in a shoving match with four of his team-mates that began once more after his second miss.
Kinnear brought Howard off immediately and pulled no punches when talking about the striker after the game.
"It was disgraceful behaviour. I told him so in the dressing room, and he knows my feelings exactly," Kinnear said.
"No-one's bigger than the club, that's for sure. His behaviour, to rear up on his own team-mates in that manner I won't accept that from anybody, I don't care who he is.
"I'm going to give it a severe thinking over the weekend and then come to my judgment on Monday. It's very unlikely he'll be involved in the Lincoln game."
If Howard is to leave The Hatters, Oxford could be likely suitors as they are rumoured to be admirers of the temperamental hit-man.
