EWERTHON CLOSE TO DORTMUND SWITCH

The 20-year-old ace currently plies his trade for Corinthians but German media reports suggest Dortmund have all but sealed an agreement with the highly-rated South American.  

Sporting director at the Westfalen Michael Zorc admitted the Ruhr club were in talks with the Samba starlet and highlighted the attributes of the youngster.

"Yes we are in negotiations with Ewerthon," said Zorc.

"Ewerthon is an extraordinary talent that we have been watching for some time now.

"He is quick and dangerous in front of goal. Ewerthon is not an emergency measure but a long-term investment."

Ewerthon is rated in the £6.5 million bracket and if, as expected, Borussia push through the deal he would join fellow countrymen Dede, Marcio Amoroso and Evanilson at the North German club.
