NO RODA MOVE FOR PEETERS
BELGIAN international striker Bob Peeters will not be moving to Roda JC from Vitesse Arnhem.
Peeters was linked with a move back to his former club after he was spotted at training with the club, and due to his friendship with coach George Leekens.
However, Roda are unwilling to meet the asking price of their Eredivisie rivals, and have ruled out the possibility of a loan deal.
Peeters only joined Arnhem at the start of last season, but has been on the bench recently and looks to be surplus to the requirements of Arnhem coach Ronald Koeman.
Youngster Jhon van Beukering has taken his place in the starting line-up and Peeters, who was linked with a move to Ipswich Town last season, is looking for a move away to find regular football.
