BOHME IN INTERNATIONAL U-TURN
JORG BOHME has performed a dramatic U-turn and accepted Rudi Voller's invitation to the German national side for the upcoming World Cup qualifier with Finland.
The Schalke wing back had earlier insisted he would refuse to link up with his international team-mates because his indifferent club form did not merit a place in the German squad.
Bohme reportedly met with Voller on Thursday to discuss the situation and the player has reconsidered his decision and looks set to take part in the Group Nine clash.
"I made the comments when I was frustrated after the Mallorca game," said the 27-year-old.
"I had the defeat in mind and and was not happy with my performance. I am pleased about the call-up and will link up with the national team."
