BUNJEVCEVIC TO MASK INJURY
GORAN BUNJEVCEVIC will wear a special facemask as he races back to action after shattering a cheekbone.
The Yugoslavian star, who joined Spurs in the summer from Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), picked up the facial injury in the 3-2 defeat by London rivals Chelsea - but is keen to make a swift return.
"I have started training again and I am going to play with a protective mask like Gazza once wore," said Bunjevcevic.
"I am having it fitted later this week and I will be able to train fully and then wear it when I play."
Paul Gascoigne is perhaps the most famous figure to previously use the mask - although Gary Mabbut and Slavisa Mijhalovic have also used the device to protect themselves.
