SWEDES ARRANGE ENGLAND FRIENDLY
Swedish FA press officer Mats Olsson admitted that discussions were under way for a intriguing clash with native Swede, Sven Goran Eriksson's side but denied a venue had already been decided.
"There are plans for a game on 10 November," Olsson told Swedish daily Aftonbladet.
"And if England qualify for the World Cup at the weekend then it's possible that it will take place. Naturally it would be fantastic.
"We are discussing with the English FA but it has definitely not been decided whether it will be played in England or Sweden."
Swedish international Marcus Allback is excited by the prospect of a game against Eriksson and England especially if it is staged in his homeland.
"If the match takes place it will be great," said Allback. "Such a great footballing nation, and on top of that 'Svennis' is the coach. It will be really fun.
"It would be better if 'Svennis' came here with his team though. It's always more interesting to play in front of your home crowd."
