DEISLER PAYMENT DENIED BY ALL
German newspaper 'Sport-Bild' claimed the £6.4 million sum went into Deisler's bank account on July 17 but all parties concerned dismissed the suggestion.
"I can only say that a payment in the region of 20 million Marks was not made to Sebastian Deisler," declared general manager Uli Hoeness.
"Whoever told you that should consult the bank concerned."
Jorg Neubauer, the agent of Deisler, also quashed the reports adding: "The report is false. It is no secret that we are in contact with Bayern. But there has not been any decision yet."
Meanwhile, Hertha Berlin spokesman Hans Felder described the speculation as "a fabricated story".
It is well known that Deisler has a clause in his Hertha contract that allows him to leave for around £6 million with Bayern and Leeds eyeing the gifted playmaker.
The Champions League holders are favourites for his signature and newspapers in Germany claim Bayern could pay the star up to 11.5 million Marks (£3.7 million) a year before tax.
