ASUAR COMPLETES SEDAN SWITCH
SEDAN have completed the signing of Ludovic Asuar from Le Championnat rivals Metz.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Ardennes side after impressing manager Henri Stambouli while on trial last week.
The former Marseille man was released from the last year of his Metz contract, and decided to leave Les Grenats due to the presence of playmaker Frederic Meyrieu.
"In Metz, I was at a standstill because of Meyrieu," said Asuar. "So I came here to revive my career.
"It's a family club, the players are down-to-earth and there are no stars."
Stambouli, who replaced Alex Dupont in charge last month, is hoping his new signing will improve the fortunes of his side who have only managed to win once this season.
