GILL JOINS LATICS IN £70,000 DEAL

The 25-year-old underwent a medical in Manchester before finalising terms inside 11 minutes on Friday to ensure he could be in The Latics squad for their clash with Bristol City on Saturday.

It ends a busy week of dealings for boss Andy Richie (pictured) after he secured the loan signings of Dean Holden and Marc Richards earlier this week, who arrived at Boundary Park from Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers respectively.
