ANGRY KETSBAIA SIGNS FOR DUNDEE
The former Newcastle man was unveiled at a 5pm press conference, where it was confirmed that he had penned a six-month contract.
The forward was placed on the transfer list by Wolves at the end of September after a fall out with manager Dave Jones, and he has been allowed to move from Molineux on a free transfer.
The capture follows on from the signing of Chinese international Fan Zhiyi, as manager Ivano Bonetti continues to add to his cosmopolitan squad.
The move ends a long quest by Bonetti, as he tried to sign Ketsbaia in the summer but the move fell through.
Ketsbaia has hardly figured for his club this season, and has played more games for his country in the last 12 months than Wolves.
The forward appears keen to resurrect his career, but launched a parting shot at Jones and British managers in general.
"Everything has happened so quickly and I'm really happy to join an ambitious club like Dundee," said Ketsbaia.
"I only started about three or four games this season. Things were not happening so eventually I decided enough was enough.
"The situation in football is getting very difficult and when a new manager comes in everything changes.
"There was no opportunity for me to show my ability at Wolves and nobody cared.
"At least there will be no British manager for me. Here I will be working under an Italian manager who knows what he wants from me and I promise to do my best."
The 33-year-old could be just the latest in a string of signings, with director of football Paul Marr saying: "We're delighted to bring in another quality international player because it is great for the profile of the club.
"Ivano targeted Temuri some time ago and we`re really glad to have finally got him.
"Hopefully there will be more experienced players like Temuri joining the club in the future."
