The Swedish international, who is out of contract at Old Trafford, but is still training with them after recovering from long-term injury is determined to find himself a new club in England.

"They have been in touch with me, but right now it is England that matters," said Blomqvist. "Two or three other Swedish clubs have also been in touch."

"Right now I give priority to finding an English club on the right level, there I know that I will get to play.

The 27-year-old ace is keen to get his career back on track after more than two years out of action through injury and he admitted he is stepping up his return.

"I continue to practice with United's A and B side. I probably practice more than the United players.

"Apart from the normal sessions, I have extra physical strength training. I hope to get to play another reserve match near the end of the week.

"It would be nice if it can be settled with a new club within a few weeks."
