DEARDEN: GREENACRE NOT GOING ANYWHERE
MANSFIELD TOWN manager Bill Dearden has issued a 'hands-off' warning to Luton Town with regard to talented striker Chris Greenacre.
A brace from the 23-year-old condemned The Hatters to a 4-1 defeat by Mansfield over the weekend and Dearden vowed to fight tooth and nail to resist the advances of Luton, who enquired about the player prior to the game.
"There is no way he'll be going to Luton. I'll bust a gut to keep him," said Dearden.
Joe Kinnear is hopeful of guiding Luton out of Division Three and wants highly-rated Greenacre to add further firepower to the division's top scorers.
