TOBIAS SET TO STAR FOR SWEDEN

OLD TRAFFORD is expected to be filled with scouts on Saturday, with Stabaek ace Tobias Linderoth the focus of attention, a match that will not feature Arsenal`s Fredrik Ljungberg.

Linderoth is expected to play a key part for Sweden against England on Saturday, and he could put himself in the shop window as a consequence.

Stabaek hope to keep the player for next season, but are acutely aware that financial constraints mean they have to sell one decent prospect per season.

"Tobias has one year left on his contract with Stabaek, and is in our plans for next season," said leader of Sport in Stabaek, Tom Schelvan. "But we are in an economical situation that means we must sell a good player every season.

"We haven't had any requests on our players this autumn, but I know many clubs have Linderoth on their lists.

"I can promise that as many as 10-20 agents at Old Trafford will be looking at Linderoth."

One player who will not be starring in the game is Arsenal midfielder Fredrik Ljungberg, who has been forced to pull out of the match with an injury sustained during The Gunners` shock defeat by Charlton on Sunday.

Ljungberg was injured in a collision with Addicks goalkeeper Dean Kiely and following tests on his shoulder, has been forced to pull out of the game at Old Trafford.
