KENYON BACKS PLAYERS IN 'CHERRY PICKING' ROW
Speaking at the Manchester Uynited PLC AGM, Kenyon defended the club's players who were accused of cherry picking their performances by United fan and shareholder Keith Thorpe.
"I can assure you that no-one at this club is complacent. The word complacent is not in our vocabulary," Kenyon said.
"Work is underway with the manager and his coaches to ensure that the current run does not last any longer than is necessary. The press coverage has been over the top, but Manchester United are best when the world is against us."
The Red Devils have not won in the Premiership since a 3-1 win at Sunderland on October 13 and have won only once in their last seven games.
United were also beaten 3-1 by arch rivals Liverpool at the beginning of November, a defeat which led to United boss Sir Alex Ferguson questioning the hunger and desire of his squad, who will be looking to get back to winning ways in their clash with Leicester on Saturday.
Kenyon also told supporters the club had no plans to enter a European Super league. He insisted United did not support such a proposal and that the Premiership was important to the club and fundamental to English football.
He also denied reports claiming United were about to sign PSV Eindhoven ace Kevin Hoflund.
