HAMSTRING CURSE SIDELINES GIGGS

MANCHESTER UNITED winger Ryan Giggs will be sidelined until the New year after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring problems.

The 'Welsh Wizard' pulled his hamstring in training before The Red Devils' Champions League clash with Bayern Munich as coach Sir Alex Ferguson drafted in Quinton Fortune on the left hand side.

Giggs, who has been plagued by hamstring trouble throughout his career, will now be missing for the crunch game with Arsenal on Sunday and most likely matches with Chelsea and Boavista in The Premiership and Champions League respectively.

"He has pulled his hamstring and these things take around six weeks to heal," confirmed Ferguson.
