VALE TAKE UNITED STARLET ON LOAN
DIVISION TWO outfit Port Vale have signed Manchester United's highly-rated striker Danny Webber on a month's loan.
Vale boss Brian Horton made the move for 19-year-old ace after loan signing Chris Killen was recalled by Manchester City after an injury crisis at Maine Road.
Killen has been in superb form for Vale scoring six goals in eight games, but he has been called back by City boss Kevin Keegan
Webber has been a prolific scorer for The Red Devils' reserve side and he scored in Thursday's game with Manchester City.
The skilful forward has made two first-team appearances for the Old Trafford side both in the Worthington Cup against Sunderland last season and Arsenal last month.
Webber, who has joined until the end of December, has been named in the squad for Saturday's game at home to Huddersfield Town.
