JEANNE HANDED TWO-YEAR SUSPENDED SENTENCE

THE Football Association of Wales have handed out a two-year suspended sentence to Cardiff City youngster Leon Jeanne.

Jeanne tested positive for a Class A drug at the club's training ground two months ago and now has to comply with three 'practicalities'.

The former Queens Park Rangers youngster has been told to join Alcoholics Anonymous to treat his drink addiction, learn to read and write and with the help of the club, find somewhere to live with a supportive family.

During his time with The R's, Jeanne was often in trouble, although he did have some major domestic problems.

He often went absent from training despite the support from the club and then R's boss Gerry Francis, but he was eventually released from Loftus Road in the summer.
