INJURY BOOST FOR INTER
The trio of Gonzalo Sorondo, Nelson Vivas and Marco Materazzi are on the verge of making their comebacks for the Milan giants.
Vivas (pictured) injured his knee during October's Milan derby but the Argentinian international is almost ready to return to action.
The former Arsenal player is set to play at least one game before the Christmas break for Hector Cuper's side.
The Serie A league leaders will also be able to call on the services of central defender Marco Materazzi, as he seems to be ready for action again. He is to have a final check with the medical staff but looks to be fit enough to play again.
Uruguayan defender Sorondo will be part of the squad to play in the Serie A game against Brescia, although the Uefa Cup game against Ipswich on Thursday has come too soon for him to figure.
