BAYLISS SIGNS FOR LUTON
LUTON TOWN have signed Rochdale defender Dave Bayliss on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old defender, Dale`s longest serving player, has signed for The Hatters until the end of the season.
"I would like to go on record as wishing David Bayliss all the best," said Rochdale caretaker manager David Hamilton.
"He has been a good servant to the club over the nine years he has been here. He was a very good squad member and I couldn't guarantee him first team football, so he left.
"David had five months of his contract left, but when he didn't really want to play for Rochdale Football Club I didn't stand in his way. He had got to that stage were he wasn't enjoying it, he had got a bit stale, and perhaps he needed a change."
