STOKE TAKE BLACK CATS ACE ON LOAN
Stoke have been looking for a new goalkeeper having failed in a bid to sign John Filan last week after he decided at the last minute to join Wigan after initially agreeing to move to the Britannia Stadium.
First choice keeper Gavin Ward is still recovering from injury and they are looking for cover for Neil Cutler.
Ingham, a Northern Ireland Under-21 international, is looking forward to the opportunity of joining Stoke so that he can get regular first team football.
"This is a great opportunity as Stoke are going well at the moment," Ingham told Sunderland's official website.
"I've been looking to go out on loan for a while and this is a chance for me to gain some valuable experience."
The 21-year-old has signed in time to be available for Wednesday's clash with Cardiff City.
