JOB SLAMS BORO AS HE JOINS METZ

JOSEPH DESIRE JOB has slammed Middlesbrough, just hours after leaving the club to return to France with Metz.

The 24-year-old has been banished to the fringes of the first team picture at The Riverside and now - as planetfootball.com revealed on Wednesday - he has joined Metz on loan until the end of the season.

The Cameroonian, who only moved to the club from Lens last year, is still in the dark as to why he never played more games for Boro during his two-year stint on Teesside.

"I can't understand why things have gone so badly for me in England," bemoaned the forward.

"I played in three consecutive games then dropped out of the side once and for all, but none of the other strikers are getting goals.

"Middlesbrough pay you, but then don't care about you, it is bizarre. I felt frustrated and now I hope to be a success by helping Metz stay up."

Job continued by stating that he hopes his loan deal will be made permanent, saying: "I don't want to return to Middlesbrough when my loan spell is up.

"I am really eager to stay in France."

Meanwhile, Boro have denied making a £3 million bid for Brighton striker Bobby Zamora.

"The story is completely untrue," said Boro boss Steve McClaren.

"We have not made any bid for Bobby Zamora therefore can not have had any bid turned down."
