ROTHEN SET TO DECIDE

JEROME ROTHEN is to decide upon his future within the next few days, with a switch to Arsenal still believed to be one of the options open to the Troyes midfielder.

Arsene Wenger is an admirer of the man who performed superbly in the Uefa Cup clash with Leeds United, although there is the possibility The Gunners will buy the player, and then loan him back to Troyes for the remainder of the campaign.

After already delaying his final decision, all eyes are now on the 23-year-old, with Nantes believed to be favourites to snap him up.

Agent Christophe Horlaville has been in discussions with Les Canaris, and a clause will be inserted in his contract to ensure he can leave if the struggling French champions are relegated this term.

Troyes coach Alain Perrin is keen to contact Wenger in a bid to assess the extent of the North Londoners' interest in Rothen, and developments are expected over the weekend.
