Two more told they can leave Stockport

STOCKPORT COUNTY boss Carlton Palmer has told defender Leo Roget and French forward Karim Fradin they can leave Edgeley Park as he continues to revamp his under-achieving squad.

Roget, a £50,000 signing from Southend, joined the club after a successful loan spell, but Palmer has decided to place him on the transfer list despite the fact he has started all 11 games since Palmer took charge.

Fradin has featured only once under Palmer - as a substitute at Sheffield Wednesday - and he has been told he can leave on a free transfer.

"Leo Roget and Karim Fradin have been placed on the transfer list," Palmer confirmed.

"It's no secret that we are trying to revamp the squad and we're now looking to bring in four or five players quickly. I have spoken to the chairman who has given us the green light. Hopefully some new faces will arrive sooner rather than later."

Both players featured for County's second string in a reserve clash against their counterparts from Doncaster, which they lost 4-2.
