Gunners reiterate Roger stance
Roger was banned from both Highbury and Colney after orchestrating Nicolas Anelka's multi-million pound move to Real Madrid in 1999, but was seen in the players' car park last Friday, just three days before his well publicised trip to Madrid with Vieira, sparking rumours of a summer switch to Real.
However, Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein has again reiterated the club's stance on Roger and told him to stay away from Arsenal.
"Marc Roger is not welcome at this club," he stormed.
"That is a fact, no doubt of which he is aware."
The combative Frenchman still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his Highbury deal, but reports in Spain suggest the one-time Milan ace has already signed a pre-contract with Real worth a staggering £4 million before tax.
However, Gunners chief Arsene Wenger has insisted Vieira is committed to the club and slammed reporters for trying to destabilise the North Londoners.
