Zola: strike pair will only improve
The diminutive Italian, 35, has watched on as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Eidur Gudjohnsen have developed into the deadliest strike partnership in The Premiership - 35 goals between them this term - and Zola can only see the pair improving.
"They're doing great. Above all they have a fantastic partnership and are both prolific," explained Zola.
"It is great for me to be able to say I have played with them. They make each other score and they can be good together for a long time."
Chelsea will be hopeful that the understanding between the Dutchman and the Icelandic international continues to blossom and the duo gun down London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg - The Blues lead 2-1 after the first leg - of the Worthington Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
