John to leave City Ground?
STERN JOHN looks set to leave Nottingham Forest at the end of the season after it emerged that the Midlands club were not prepared to offer him a new improved deal.
The Trinidad and Tobago international, Forest's top goalscorer with 14, wanted to stay at the City Ground but the cash-strapped club are looking to slash the wage-bill.
"We have no plans at the moment to offer Stern a new contract," explained manager Paul Hart.
John is said to be picking up in the region of £6,000 a week and could be sold, with a number of suitors reportedly keen, to ease the cash-crisis.
