Hofland: Only top five will do for me
The Dutch defender was heavily linked to Manchester United but has decided to stay with PSV for the time being and hopes it will be a successful time in the coming months.
Hofland said: "At the moment I want to go through the Uefa Cup, I'd love to win that cup. But we have to be realistic if you see which clubs are still in the race for the final. I also want to win the Dutch Cup, because I already lost the final twice. And of course to be champions."
Speaking about England, Hofland added: "If you look to my style of play, it's the best league to show myself. I sometimes have problems with the referee here because they give fouls for everything. But also the atmosphere and the bravery attracts me."
When asked if he had a favourite club, Hofland said: "No, not really. There are things said about Manchester United, but it's not true. If there will be a top club we can always talk about a move but I have nothing heard so far.
"I always have said I will complete this season. It must be a real top side. I will not go to a Fulham or a Derby County. So Manchester, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leeds United are the only candidates to attract me. These are the five teams I want to play for only."
Speaking about Uefa Cup opponents Leeds, Hofland added: "I know a lot of the club, because I follow English football. I can play against Viduka, Smith, Lee Bowyer.
"Robbie Fowler is also there, but he's not able to play. They are really honest players and it will be a tough challenge for me to show my capabilities. The chances will be fifty-fifty.
"There are two matches and it will depend on the form of the day. I don't have any fear of them."
