Davis` unhappy nose job

FULHAM'S Sean Davis will miss the FA Cup clash with York on Saturday, and faces at least another week out after suffering a broken nose in the reserves, which he said was no accident.

The England Under-21 international suffered the injury during the reserve game against Ipswich, and says he will have to see a specialist.

"My nose is very sore at the moment, I have had a scan and it is fractured so I will have to go to a specialist," Davis told Fulham's official website.

"I won't be playing Saturday, I will be seeing a specialist and see how it goes but I will probably be out for seven to ten days but that's football."

Davis has been hurt before while playing for The Cottagers' second string, and claimed that the injury came as a result of a deliberate elbow from the opposition.

"I passed the ball and it got intercepted and went up in the air, then one of their players, I think Naylor, came in and blatantly elbowed me in the face which I wasn't too happy about.

"There was no media there and the game was not videoed so I don't think anything can happen about it so it's gone now and I just have to get on with it.

"The last reserve game I nearly got my leg broken so it's not been a good experience for me playing in the reserves."
