Diao wants Premiership chance
SEDAN star Salif Diao wants a move to The Premiership, in order to bring about more comparisons with Arsenal ace Patrick Vieira.
The leggy Senegalese international is under contract with his French club, but appears determined to be wearing a new shirt next season.
"I have reached a level where I need new challenges," he told France Football.
"For the moment, I have not reached what I want.
"I confirmed my qualities in Sedan, and it is time to move on.
"I am tempted by England. True football is played there.
"I will have to fight to show my qualities, but I am ready."
The 25-year-old midfielder is currently competing with Senegal in the African Cup of Nations.
