Doesburg set for Dutch return
The Dutchman had been told by Pars boss Jimmy Calderwood that he would not be offered a new deal at the club when his current contract expires in the summer.
The 33-year-old, who joined The Pars from Motherwell in the summer of 2000 has struggled to establish himself as a regular member of the side as he has been hit by a series of injuries.
Meanwhile, Dunfermline striker Lee Bullen is refusing to sign a new two-year deal until he is assured of his first-team future.
Bullen is concerned that the proposed signing of Tranmere Rovers ace Seyni N'Diaye could force him onto the sidelines.
"I have spoken to the gaffer about the contract but it has been that way for a few months now," said Bullen.
"I see we're desperate to sign another forward and obviously I want to know what that means for me.
"Being involved is more important to me than any money in a contract. This is a great club to play for, but you have to be playing."
