Teething problems hamper Ronaldo

RONALDO'S muscular injury is believed to have been part caused by a tooth infection according to French physician Philippe Boixel.

Boixel has recommended that Ronaldo has the tooth extracted as it has caused an inflammation in his jaw and gave him difficulties feeding.

Speaking to an Italian sports newspaper, Boixel admitted he was not a doctor but a 'physician' and indicated his speciality was 'helping sportsmen recover from trauma'.

Ronaldo has been put on a special diet whilst he is in Rio de Janeiro recovering from the injury to his left leg after visiting Boixel with Inter doctor Franco Combi and Nilton Petrone, his personal trainer.
