Jancker not for Fulham
Jancker has regularly been linked with a move to Craven Cottage and was mooted as an alternative to Jan Koller last summer, when Fulham failed to land the giant Czech striker.
Bayern are willing to part with Jancker, who is eager to secure regular first team football to ensure he is prominent in Germany coach Rudi Voller's plans for the 2002 World Cup.
However, Fulham will not be his destination with assistant manager Christian Damiano saying: "Jancker is not for us."
It is no secret that Fulham boss Jean Tigana has been searching for an imposing target man, and was even offered Jancker on loan when they declined a permanent transfer.
But the 27-year-old failed to fit the Frenchman's bill and will now have to reset his sights if he is to seal a move to The Premiership.
