Corica takes Saddlers trial
FORMER Wolves midfielder Steve Corica is to go on trial with Walsall in the hope of winning a contract with the West Midlands side.
The Australian international has been playing for Sanfreece Hiroshima in Japan for almost two years after leaving Wolves in March 2000, but is looking to return to England.
"Steve has come across while there is a break in the Japanese league," said Walsall manager Colin Lee.
"We have invited him to come and watch the game tomorrow and he will train with us next week. We will see how things go from there."
Corica has recently been on trial with Dutch side Roda JC Kerkrade.
