Sedan dealt injury blow

SEDAN have been dealt an injury blow with the news that defender Richard Jezierski will be out of action for at least six weeks.

The 29-year-old centre half left the field during Wednesday's game against Marseille at Stade Velodrome on a stretcher, and it has now been confirmed that he faces the lengthy lay-off.

Jezierski has sustained three fractured ribs, and these will need time to heal before he can start playing again.

He is still in a Marseille hospital having treatment, but is set to return to Sedan to rest this week.
