FCK confirm Bolton approach
The Premiership strugglers have been linked with the Gallic ace of late and Kaiserslautern affirmed there has been contact but no talks as of yet.
Michael Novak, a spokesman for FCK, informed AFP: "There is indeed a request, but for the moment no decision's been taken and we haven't yet talked to Bolton."
"The club's management will no doubt be looking at the request on Tuesday."
Trotters chairman Phil Gartside revealed a meeting between Sam Allardyce and Djorkaeff had taken place telling BBC Manchester: "Sam (Allardyce) met him (Djorkaeff) last week and I am sure Sam was quite pleased with the attitude and what he wants to do,"
The former Internazionale star, 33, is desperate to end his miserable time at the Betzenberg and stake a late claim for a place in Roger Lemerre's World Cup squad, while Bolton will hope the talented midfielder can help the club to stave off the threat of relegation with 12 Premiership games remaining.
