Bremen move for Arason
ROSENBORG director Rune Bratseth has confirmed that Werder Bremen are interested in recruiting goalkeeper Arni Gautur Arason.
The Icelandic international has been in fine form for the Norwegian champions this season and Bremen are keen on bringing in a new custodian with current number one Frank Rost set to join Schalke in the summer.
"At the moment this is the case. Werder wants a new goalie and Arason is one of those they are considering," Bratseth told Dagbladet.
Rosenborg may be prepared to sell 26-year-old Arason (pictured) with highly-rated Norwegian international Espen Johnsen also on the books.
