Bantams in talks with Lindbaek

EXCLUSIVE
BRADFORD CITY have been given permission by Molde FK to begin talks with their Norwegian striker Andre Lindbaek.

The 24-year-old hit-man was Molde's second-highest goalscorer last season and The Bantams are looking to bring Lindbaek's talents to Valley Parade.

Speaking exclusively to planetfootball.com, Molde secretary to the director of football Snorre Strand said: "We have given permission (to Bradford) to talk to Andre."

However, Molde could not confirm how talks between Lindbaek and Bradford have gone as yet.

Strand added: "It's too early to say, they have the chance to talk to him but it's too soon to know."

As the West Yorkshire side look to bring in one striker, another seems poised to move on as Ashley Ward is set to return to the south of the county on Monday with Division One strugglers Barnsley.
