Robin breaks neck in car crash
BRISTOL CITY defender Kevin Amankwaah has suffered a broken neck in a car crash, although the player should make a full recovery.
Amankwaah, who was a passenger in the car along with fellow Bristol City player Aaron Brown, is expected to return to playing despite the injury.
"While it is very bad news, we are just relieved that Kevin's injury is not life-threatening and that he should make a full recovery in time," manager Danny Wilson told Bristol City's official website.
"Our thoughts are with him and his family. It is too early to say how long the recovery period will be, but he will certainly not be available again this season."
