Baros vows to plug away
The Czech international marksman came on for the injured Emile Heskey and almost grabbed a last-gasp winner after overcoming initial nerves.
"I believe things will start getting better in the summer. At the moment I am just paying attention to training. I would like to stay at Liverpool. It would be better for me partly because I would improve my English," Baros told the club's official website.
"I had a slightly unpleasant feeling before coming on at the Nou Camp, like a tightness in my stomach - but mainly I was really looking forward to it.
"It was magnificent to experience the Nou Camp. It is one of the biggest stadiums in the world and has a fantastic atmosphere.
"I did have one chance and maybe I should have shot earlier, but I would probably have hit Frank de Boer. I thought he would stop running but he kept up with me. That was my one chance."
With European Footballer of the Year Michael Owen, Emile Heskey and Nicolas Anelka all competing with Baros for a striking berth, the 20-year-old faces an almighty battle to make himself a first team regular with The Reds.
