Edds and Henshaw get Walsall trials
The 21-year-old Edds is out-of-contract at the end of the season with Forest and has already had a week's trial at Division Two leaders Reading last month.
Henshaw enjoyed a brief stint at Leeds United before coming to The Saddlers, after the right-back was recommended to the Walsall boss.
Lee has also been busy handing three youngsters their first professional contracts, with striker Andy Bishop and the midfield duo of Craig Stanley and Nick Smith all been rewarded with two-year deals from the start of next season.
Meanwhile, striker Brett Angell could be set for another move, as three clubs have expressed interest in taking the journeyman striker before the transfer deadline.
Angell's opportunities in The Saddlers first-team have been reduced since the arrival of Brazilian hitman Marcelo and the return to fitness of veteran Don Goodman, as the Bescot Stadium club look to avoid relegation from Division One.
Lee would not state which clubs are showing interest in the former Stockport County and Sunderland hitman.
He said: "We have had three clubs in for Brett and there is a chance something may happen before the transfer deadline.
"It will be a shame to lose him if he does move on because he is a good lad.
"He is the sort of person you want at your club, not just because of his footballing abilities but because he is such a good character.
"He is good to have in the dressing room and he is a pleasure to work with.
"But we won't stand in his way, if he has the chance of earning himself a deal with another club."
