Helveg boost for Milan

MILAN'S Danish defender Thomas Helveg has recovered from his ankle injury and trained with the rest of the squad on Thursday.

"It's going forward, but now it will be interesting to see how the body reacts tomorrow," Helveg told Onside.dk.

"I am aiming to make the squad for the Sunday match versus Piacenza but I don't expect to play until next Sunday."

Helveg will be looking to figure in the side's Uefa Cup campaign after they booked a semi-final clash with Borussia Dortmund by knocking out Hapoel Tel Aviv.

"We were two up by the break and of course tried to score a third goal, which would have made us more safe, but it didn't succeed," Dane Martin Laursen to BT.

"They were pressuring at the end, but never really got dangerous. Considering the two matches overall, it was fully deserved that we went through.

"I played the entire match and didn't feel the leg muscle which has plagued me. Now, I am hoping it will be the same tomorrow."
