Valgaeren happy at Celtic - Agent

Media reports have linked the powerful centre-half, who is sidelined at present, with moves to Borussia Dortmund and a number of Premiership sides but the player's representative, Guido Mallants, maintains his client is happy at Parkhead.

"I was speaking with Joos Valgaeren and we had a good chat," said Mallants.

"He told me he was happy here in Glasgow and at Celtic so there's no problem whatsoever there.

"He hasn't asked to leave because he told me that he is very happy with life there in Scotland.

"He is currently out injured and trying to make the World Cup team, but it does look like he will win more trophies so why wouldn't he be happy?"

Valgaeren joined The Bhoys from Roda JC two seasons ago and was a pillar of strength at the back for the Glasgow giants last term as they scooped an impressive treble.
