Pirlo unhappy with Milan role
After climbing off the bench to score Milan`s third goal in the 3-1 win over Parma on Saturday, Pirlo admitted life under coach Carlo Ancelotti is far from happy.
"I want to play more, not only to sit on the bench," said Pirlo. "I hoped to be in the Rossoneri starting XI against Parma, but I had to start the game sitting on the bench as usual."
It appears the relationship between player and coach is not good.
Pirlo added: "I scored a goal against Parma because I did not follow Ancelotti`s suggestions."
Milan general manager Adriano Galliani appears to be a fan of the youngster, commenting: "I think that Pirlo and Rui Costa should play together."
It would seem, though, that it is unlikely to happen in the near future, as Ancelotti countered: "They will play together if I can play with 12 players."
Pirlo made a lasting impression for the Italian Under-21s during their midweek game in England, dictating play from the centre of the park, and his disenchantment may see interested parties make contact with Milan.
Despite being restricted to cameo appearances, the 22-year-old is rated highly within the San Siro and the only move likely to be sanctioned would be a loan deal.
